Second opioid safe site could be coming to Hamilton after rise in overdose calls

Local public health officials are saying that the city of Hamilton is amongst the worst hit municipalities in Ontario when it comes to opioid overdoses. Last year there were 38-percent more overdoses than the provincial average and now Hamilton’s board of health committee is giving full support for a second supervised injection site.
