Reward offered for ATM thefts

There’s a $25,000 reward to identify the suspects in several automatic teller machine break-ins.

Halton police have released this surveillance video showing two men using an acetylene torch to break into an ATM in September.

Police say that, since July of last year, the two have done the same thing at ATM’s in Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton, Niagara, Peel, York, Toronto, Cambridge, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City.

Their total take is estimated to be well over $700,000.
