The City of Hamilton says the Red Hill Valley Parkway (RHVP) reopened Sunday night, which was earlier than expected.

The RHVP was set to reopen at 5 a.m. on Monday but the city said on social media that work ended faster than anticipated, allowing the RHVP to reopen at around 11 p.m. Sunday.

The RHVP has been closed since Thursday in both directions from Mud Street to Barton Street for rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance work.
