Reaction to Toronto Mayor’s revelations

Regardless of where you live, the Ford crack controversy is being talked about across the province and beyond. We asked people in Hamilton and Burlington what they think about it:

“If he’s in the wrong, he should resign. If he’s in the right, he has the right to fight.”

“I’m not surprised, I mean…the information we had before, I think this is just further details.”

“No, I think he should step down. But I think he’s a lousy mayor regardless.”

“I feel sad for him, and if it is true that he has substance abuse issues, then he should probably think some help. There are programs out there for recovery for guys like that.”

Earlier, Premier Wynne was asked if she’s going to intervene in the investigation into the Toronto Mayor. Wynne insisted she won’t interfere, saying it’s a matter for police and the justice system to deal with.
