Three injured following serious crash on QEW at Bowen Rd

Three people are injured following a serious crash on the QEW at Bowen road in Fort Erie.

The crash happened just after 8:00 a.m. when a vehicle travelling southbound steered into the median and hit another car in the north bound lanes.

Reports say that one person was ejected during the collision, while two people were trapped and needed to be extricated.

All involved were transported patients to the Greater Niagara General Hospital with serious injuries.

The QEW has now been fully reopened.
