Hwy. 403 near Ancaster reopened after morning closures

Ontario Provincial Police have reopened parts of Highway 403 eastbound near Ancaster after multiple crashes led to closures on Thursday morning.
Police posted on X at around 11:33 a.m. that the highway was closed at Jerseyville Road because of multiple collisions and poor road conditions.
Highway 403 eastbound is CLOSED at Jerseyville Road due to multiple collisions and poor road conditions. The closure is expected to last for an extended period. Please plan an alternate route and avoid the area.

OPP posted on X at around 12:20 p.m. that they reopened lane 2 of the road.
As of 5:30 p.m. all lanes have been reopened.
