Popular vote numbers

Although the Liberal party won more seats, they had only slightly more votes than the Progressive Conservatives.

The Liberals got more than 37% of the popular vote, compared to just over 35% for the P.C’s.

The NDP attracted nearly 23%, and the Green Party had less than 3%.
