Police surround townhouse

Hamilton police had residents concerned about a situation in the east end Thursday afternoon.

Swat crews and at least one ambulance were set up at a townhouse complex behind a school near Roxborough Park.

Police were looking for a suspect from a robbery that occurred Wednesday night on Queenston Road.

The situation went on for over an hour.

We don’t yet know if police found the suspect, but the area has now been cleared.
