Police seek suspects, SUV involved in two BB gun shootings in St. Catharines

Niagara police are asking residents for information identifying a vehicle involved with two separate BB gun shootings in St. Catharines Wednesday.

Officers say at around 8:50 p.m., someone driving a black SUV was seen driving in the St. Paul Street and James Street area when an occupant of the vehicle shot multiple rounds from a BB gun at someone on the sidewalk. The victim was not injured.

The SUV drove away toward Ontario Street, and was last seen going northbound.

Police say later that night at around 9:25 p.m. someone in Port Dalhousie reported being shot at while they were on Main Street near Elgin Street.

Investigators say in that incident a black SUV drove past the victim and someone inside the vehicle shot several rounds at them from a BB gun. The victim was not injured in this incident either.
