Police search for suspected arsonists in Norfolk County

Police in Norfolk County are on the hunt for suspected arsonists after multiple attempts were recently made to light a house on fire.
Norfolk County OPP say they were called shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Monday to investigate a fire at a home on Windham Centre Rd. in Windham.
Police say there was evidence of a fire at the property that was intentionally set at the side of the house.
Investigators say someone tried to set the home on fire the previous night as well, with damages being estimated at approximately $10,000 in total.

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office is working with members of Norfolk OPP as they continue to investigate this suspected arson.
Police ask people living in the surrounding area to check their video surveillance footage for any suspicious activity.
