Police search for armed duo after theft at Oakville used car dealership

Halton police are looking for two males accused of a Wednesday morning armed robbery at Brothers Deals on Wheels in Oakville.

At around 9:40 a.m., two males attended the luxury used car dealership at 345 Wyecroft Rd. where they confronted three males and demanded they hand over their valuables.

Detectives say the two accused males left in a vehicle described as a black Acura RDX with a piece of jewelry and two cell phones.

Officers believe the Acura to have been stolen from Toronto.

One of the suspects is said to have been in possession of a handgun and the other had a machete. However, police say no one was injured in the altercation.

Investigators describe the accused as:

    • Male, black, with a medium to heavy build, wearing a dark-coloured zip up hooded jacket over a tan coloured hoodie, black cargo style pants, black athletic sneakers, gloves and a black face covering. He was carrying a small black satchel and holding a handgun.
    • Male, with a slender to medium build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black gloves, black and white patterned shoes, a red face covering and holding a machete.

Police are asking anyone with information or who may have security or dash cam video from the area at the time are asked to contact them at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.
