Police are renewing their appeal for information from witnesses of a fatal shooting outside of an east Hamilton Mountain business that happened exactly one year ago today.

The incident unfolded shortly before 5 p.m. on Dec. 11, 2023 in front of Satellite Tire on Nebo Road.

Spencer Laffin, 33, was outside of his family-owned business when he was shot. Investigators say he was then pursued to the neighbouring property, where he was shot several more times and died.
