Police investigating fatal motorcycle crash in Niagara Falls

Niagara police are investigating a motorcycle crash that killed one man Friday evening in Niagara Falls.

At around 5:57 p.m., authorities responded to reports of a motorcycle collision near the intersection of Marineland Parkway and Portage Road.

The initial investigation determined a grey 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle was travelling south on Marineland Parkway approaching Portage Road when the 43-year-old driver from St. Catharines lost control and was ejected.

The man, who was the sole occupant of the motorcycle, sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital by paramedics. He later succumbed to his injuries.
