Hamilton police are investigating a Sunday night robbery in which a man was assaulted by several suspects.

The incident occurred around 9 p.m. in the area of Queen Street North and Main Street West.

Police say that the suspects drove off in a gold-coloured Hyundai SUV after hitting the victim’s vehicle.

Officers later located a stolen vehicle connected to the incident at 151 Queen St. North.

One suspect was arrested after police searched the building and surrounding area. A second suspect remains at large.
