Police have identified the man they believe was involved in a shooting in Niagara Falls that sent one man to hospital Tuesday morning.
At approximately 9:30 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting at a long-stay motel in the area of Queen Street and Zimmerman Avenue.
Upon arrival, authorities located a man with gunshot wounds. He was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives were eventually granted a search warrant for the hotel room where the shooting occurred.
An imitation firearm and ammunition were seized in the room.
As a result of the investigation, authorities have identified 35-year-old Jonathan Wade of Niagara Falls as the suspect.
Wade is currently at large and wanted for the following charges:
Police describe Wade as a five-foot-ten tall, 200 lbs, white man with a shaved head. He was last seen fleeing the scene shirtless, wearing black pants and dark shoes in a blue SUV.

Residents in the area of the shooting are asked to review video surveillance footage and contact authorities if the suspect is observed.
