Police continue search for man seen struggling in Grand River

Brantford police are continuing their search for a man who was seen struggling in the waters of the Grand River over the weekend.

Police received a call around 12 p.m. Sunday from witnesses who say they saw a man become submerged in the water near Erie Ave. in Brantford.

They described the man as white, approximately 50 years of age, with grey hair and was wearing a toque and “Lumber” style jacket.

Investigators say they have not received a missing persons report involving a male with the same description.
