Police ask public to avoid St. Catharines intersection after man shot
Niagara police are asking the public to avoid the area of Bunting Road and Carlton Street in St. Catharines as they investigate a shooting.
Officers tell CHCH News that although this investigation is in its early stages, they can confirm one man has been shot and is being transported to an out-of-region hospital.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and to take alternate routes as there will be a heavy police presence in the area for some time.
