A Peel Regional Police officer has been charged with sexual assault.

Ontario’s special investigations unit says there are “reasonable grounds” to believe the officer committed a sexual offence against a 22 year old woman.

A probe against the officer began in July.

Constable Slavko Salajko is scheduled to appear in a Brampton court December 5th.
