Eastbound Linc in Hamilton reopens after five-vehicle crash

Hamilton police say the eastbound Linc has reopened following a five-vehicle collision during Wednesday’s afternoon rush hour.

Officers say the crash happened shortly after 3 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the Linc near Garth Street.

One person was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The eastbound Linc was closed between Golf Links Road and Garth Street, but reopened around 6:40 p.m.

There’s no word yet on the cause of the collision.
