Pair charged for alleged financial exploitation of senior in Hamilton

Hamilton police have arrested and charged two individuals following an investigation into alleged financial exploitation of a vulnerable senior.

On June 24, investigators arrested a 56-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman.

Detectives say both of the accused have been charged with fraud over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and identity fraud.

Both suspects have been released from custody and are awaiting future court dates.
