OPP search for federal offender known to frequent Hamilton area

The Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing federal offender known to frequent the Hamilton area.

Members of the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad are searching for Robert Walter Andrews who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching his long term supervision order.

Andrews is described as a white man, 55-years-old, six-foot in height, 180 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes and corrective lenses.

He is serving an eight year long term supervision order as a result of convictions for attempted murder, criminal harassment and failure to comply with a probation order.

Police say he is known to frequent both the Toronto and Hamilton areas.
