OPP investigates mischief after cables cut on generator in Norfolk County

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating after someone broke into a secured area at a Norfolk County address and damaged equipment.

Officers were called to Chapel St. in Simcoe around 2:20 p.m. on Dec. 13.

Police say someone had attended the address and gained access into a secured area that was surrounded by fencing.

The person cut the cables to a generator causing approximately $1,000 in damage.

Norfolk County OPP is hoping the public can help identify the person responsible for the mischief.
