Ontario Provincial Police have arrested and charged two people in connection with a drug trafficking investigation in Simcoe.
Norfolk County OPP say the pair were taken into custody following a traffic stop on Ireland Road around 11 a.m. Sunday.
During a search of them and their vehicle, officers found cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, ecstasy, Canadian cash and drug-related paraphernalia.
As a result, 36-year-old Kevin Collins and 68-year-old Paul Saucier — both of Norfolk County — are facing several drug trafficking-related charges.
Collins remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Monday.
Saucier is expected to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Feb. 10.
