Ontario reports 3,295 COVID-19 cases and 19 deaths

Ontario reported 3,295 cases of COVID-19 and 19 deaths on Thursday as the province’s latest stay-at-home order comes into effect.
The daily case count comes as the province completed 63,846 tests. The reported positivity rate, which takes into account the date tests were done, is six per cent.
Ontario is reporting 3,295 cases of #COVID19 and over 63,800 tests completed. Locally, there are 933 new cases in Toronto, 649 in Peel, 386 in York Region, 165 in Durham and 160 in Ottawa.
As of 8:00 p.m. yesterday, 2,834,784 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered.

- 7 in hospital
Haldimand-Norfolk
- 1,747 total cases — up 23 from Wednesday
- 1,574 resolved cases
- 129 active cases
- 39 deaths
The number of COVID-19 patients in hospital is up to 1,417. There are 525 patients in intensive care, with 331 of them on ventilators.
Another 2,576 cases have been marked as resolved.
The province administered another 108,563 vaccine doses since the last report.
