Ontario is reporting 170 new cases of COVID-19 and one new death.
Toronto, York and Peel region saw the highest number of new cases, according to Minister of Health Christine Elliott.
Today, Ontario is reporting 170 cases of #COVID19 as the province completed nearly 25,000 tests. Locally, 28 public health units are reporting five or fewer cases, with 14 reporting no new cases. There are 55 cases in Toronto today, with 28 in York, 22 in Peel and 12 in Ottawa.

Over 24,000 tests were completed.
Numbers released Thursday saw an additional 142 resolved cases.
To date, the province has seen 43,855 cases of the virus, with 90 per cent of those resolved.
A total of 2,814 people have died.
There are 1,567 active cases of COVID-19 in Ontario.
Once again, the number of hospitalizations, patients in ICU and patients on ventilators remain mostly stable.
There are 54 people in hospital with the virus, 14 in the ICU and nine on a ventilator.
Haldimand-Norfolk: 0 new cases, 20 active cases
Brant: 0 new cases, 3 active cases
Niagara: 3 new cases, 19 active cases
Hamilton: 3 new cases, 88 active cases
Halton: 2 new cases, 41 active cases
