Live Nation Canada says that Rogers Stadium in North York sustained “significant damage” in the extreme weather event that hit southern Ontario on Wednesday.
The event organizer confirmed that no one was injured and that it is evaluating the debris and its impact on future shows at the music venue.
“We are currently assessing the extent of the damage and will provide further information as it becomes available,” reads a statement from Live Nation Canada.
Australian band AC/DC is scheduled to perform at the stadium on Sept. 16 for their 2026 “POWER UP TOUR.”
There is no word yet on whether or not the concert will be cancelled or rescheduled.
Rogers Stadium opened June 29 of last year on the former Downsview Airport lands.
