Ontario reports 1,553 new COVID-19 cases, 12 deaths over two days

Ontario has released two days worth of COVID-19 data, after not releasing data on Thanksgiving Monday.

The province reported 807 new COVID-19 cases and three new deaths on Monday.

Tuesday’s data adds 746 new cases and nine new deaths.

Over the two days, an additional 1,292 cases have been marked as resolved.

The total number of deaths is 3,017.

Testing appears to have slowed down with Monday’s report showing 36,473 tests completed and 31,233 test completed in Tuesday’s report.

That’s down from record high testing the week before.

Another 24,420 tests remain under investigation, according to Tuesday’s numbers.

There are 230 people in the province hospitalized with COVID-19. Of those, 60 are in intensive case, while 34 of those are on ventilators.

Haldimand-Norfolk: 1 new case, 8 active cases

Brant: 1 new case, 9 active cases

Halton: 30 new cases, 212 active cases

Niagara: 1 new case, 99 active cases

Hamilton: 12 new cases, 195 active cases

Six Nations of the Grand River: 14 active cases
