No health risks from GM’S former St. Catharines plant

No need to worry if you live or plan to live near the former General Motors plant on Ontario Street in St. Catharines. After months of study, the province’s environment ministry says there’s minimal contamination. The air and water quality examination indicates that the site’s contaminants are of no danger to surrounding areas. In addition, Niagara Public Health has determined that there is no increased health risk to area residents.
