Niagara police are investigating after a taxi driver was pepper sprayed in Niagara Falls in February.
Authorities say the incident happened on Feb. 15, 2026 at approximately 11:30 p.m. near Buckeye Crescent and Kalar Road.
According to officers, a taxi dropped a man and woman off in the area after picking them up near the casino on Fallsview Boulevard. The pair left the taxi without paying. When the driver asked them to pay, the man pepper sprayed the driver before the pair fled on foot.
The man driving the taxi was treated on scene by Niagara paramedics.
Investigators describe the man and woman as white and in their 20s.
Detectives are asking the public for help identifying the pair involved in this incident.
