Newman “a wonderful mother, daughter, nurse and friend”

A church in Ancaster was packed with mourners today, for the funeral of Katherine Newman.

The 43-year-old mother of three was at the centre of last week’s tragedy in Oakville. She was stabbed to death in her home, shortly before her estranged husband was shot and killed by police.

Al Sweeney spoke to some of Newman’s friends at the funeral.
