Halton police have arrested a New Tecumseth man following an investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a teenage boy in Oakville last November.
Officers say they began an investigation Thursday into several alleged assaults that happened during the month of November.
Investigators arrested 65-year-old Darrell Baudoux of New Tecumseth and charged him with three counts of sexual assault, three counts of sexual interference and failing to comply with an undertaking.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
Police say Baudoux was on a prior form of release for similar offences at the time of his arrest.
Detectives are concerned there may be additional victims, as they say Baudoux has had previous contact with children as a youth leader in the past.
Authorities have not released any information regarding the victim in this incident.
Anyone with information regarding the investigation, or knows someone who has been victimized by the accused are asked to contact the Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit at 905-825-4777 ext. 8970.
