Halton police are looking for three suspects as part of an arson investigation after a tow truck was consumed by fire in Burlington last month.
Officers say Burlington Fire responded to a fire at around 2:45 a.m. on Feb. 26, 2026, which involved a tow truck that was parked on Morris Drive, near the intersection of Harvester Road.
Investigators say the truck was hauling a flatbed trailer that was loaded with an orange Hitachi excavator.
They say both the cab of the truck and the excavator were fully engulfed in flames.
Police determined the fire to be arson, and are looking for three people who were seen in the area in a dark-coloured pickup truck.
Detectives have not given any suspect descriptions at this time.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 905-825-4777, ext. 2316.
Officers are also asking anyone with dash camera footage or video of the Harvester Road and Morris Drive area between 2:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. to contact investigators.
