Nero group sentenced for drug conspiracy

Cocaine kingpin Nick Nero has been sentenced to 22 years in prison. Nero was the leader of a conspiracy to import one ton of cocaine a month into Canada.
He was charged in the spring of 2012 after 110 kilos — 30 million dollars worth of cocaine was discovered in a St. Catharines warehouse.
Nero was a major wholesaler of cocaine at the highest levels.
Earlier, Nero’s front man Alfonso Inclima was sentenced to eight years for executing cocaine deals worth millions in Los Angeles and Mexico.
Nero received more than a million in cash for one deal. Martino Caputo, Nero’s right hand man was sentenced to 12 yrs in prison.
