Multi-car collision in Hamilton sends seven people to hospital

Seven people have been taken to hospital with injuries after a multi car crash on Trinity Church Road.

Hamilton EMS confirm that a child and a teenage girl were among the injured and that the injuries range from minor to critical.

Hamilton police say a car was driving southbound on the road around 9:45 p.m. Sunday night when it collided with another vehicle driving the opposite direction.

The cars were then rear-ended by another vehicle causing injuries to the seven people.

Officers have closed part of the road between Guyatt and Dickenson Roads while they investigate.

They say it may be closed for several hours.
