The man at the centre of the Maple Leaf Gardens sex scandal now faces almost a hundred charges.

Gordon Stuckless was charged with more than 70 counts earlier this year. But Thursday’s court appearance brought his total to 98.

A pre-trial has been set for April of next year. It’s expected to last five weeks. Seventeen men have now come forward with complaints against Stuckless, alleging he assaulted them while he worked at Maple Leaf Gardens between 1965 and 1984.
