Mistrial declared in Jeremy Hall trial

A mistrial has been declared in the latest murder trial for convicted killer Jeremy Hall.
Hall was charged with second-degree murder after Kelvin Sawa hung himself at the Niagara Detention Centre in 2011. The six man, six woman jury started deliberations on Thursday after hearing testimony from a number of inmates.
The court heard that inmates were told Sawa was accused of sexually assaulting a teen. Hall was accused of making threats that resulted in Sawa hanging himself.
