Missing Woodstock woman found dead

Woodstock police have found the body of a woman who disappeared after leaving her home last week.

Officers say the body of Brenda Duncan was found just west of Tavistock Monday, about 25 kilometres from her home. Police had been searching the area after Duncan’s car was found nearby on Sunday.

Duncan had called in sick for work last Tuesday morning, but left home around eight. Her husband later reported her missing.

Police have yet to confirm a cause of death.
