McMaster University’s political science students get inspired to vote

Elections Canada says that out of the roughly 4 million people age of 18 and 24, only 39% voted in the last federal election. McMaster University’s political science students were lucky enough to have 3 local federal candidates visit them for intimate discussions on their party’s platforms.
The 3 candidates held their own debate to the class and then the class had a debate of their own over who stood out and who didn’t. And while students appreciate promises of new committees or ending student debt, it was the person behind those promises that mattered more.
