McGuinty to testify

Former Premier Dalton McGuinty will testify Tuesday over the two cancelled gas power plants in Oakville and Mississauga.

His testimony comes exactly one week after his successor, Premier Kathleen Wynne, appeared before the committee. His planned appearance prompted this response from Premier Wynne.

The former Premier is expected to be pressed on ”when” he knew the cost of cancelling plants in Mississauga and Oakville — and ”why” he constantly said it was so much lower.
