Man stabbed at Hamilton restaurant

A man’s been stabbed several times at a downtown Hamilton restaurant.

It happened around 9:45 pm Sunday outside of the August 8 sushi restaurant at Wilson and Hughson streets.  Police say the man is in serious but stable condition at Hamilton General.

An employee at the restaurant says the man works there. The attacker ran off after the stabbing.

Police say they don’t believe there is a threat to the public.
