Man falls in Niagara Gorge

Niagara Falls fire department rescued a man who fell 16 metres down the Niagara Gorge near the Rainbow Bridge.

The 911 call came in about 9:30 last night. They lowered a basket over the side of the bridge.

U.S.-bound lanes were closed for more than an hour. The victim was rushed to hospital. It’s not clear how long he was down there.
