Man, 19, hospitalized after central Hamilton stabbing: police

A suspect is in custody after a stabbing in central Hamilton sent a 19-year-old man to hospital late Tuesday morning.

Hamilton police say the incident happened around 11:45 a.m. at an apartment building located at 160 Market St.

Emergency crews arrived to find the man with stab wounds. Paramedics then transported him to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The man gave police a description of the suspect. One person has been arrested, but police continue to investigate.
