Halton police say they have arrested a male suspect for his alleged involvement in a shooting in a Georgetown, Ont. park on Monday.
Officers say they received reports of gunshots at Dominion Gardens Park in the Halton Hills community at around 5:15 p.m.
Investigators confirmed that shots were fired at a parked vehicle and no one was injured despite members of the public being in the area at the time.
Detectives arrested a male on Tuesday and say they will provide additional details about the accused and his charges in further updates.
Authorities believe the shooting is targeted and there are no additional suspects.
