Local personalities wrapping it up for shoppers
A few very familiar faces were helping shoppers get some gift wrapping done at Burlington Mall today.
Our very own Nick Dixon and Nicola Jones were cutting, and wrapping along with Hamilton Ticat players Peter Dyakowski and Ryan Hinds, all showing their fine skills with proceeds going to the United Way. The agency’s Lan Lifchus says they’ve been doing this for the last four years.
“Last year alone, we raised over $14-thousand dollars wrapping presents.”
Organizers are hoping to raise even more this year. The gift wrapping will be available for customers right up until Christmas Eve.
