On the second Friday of every month, James Street North in Hamilton is transformed into a celebration of art, music and food for Art Crawl.

From May to October, a portion of the street is closed to cars between York Boulevard and Murray Street to create a pedestrian-only street festival.

Tourism Hamilton says while there are no strict rules or schedule, stalls, kiosks and local businesses often start setting up in the afternoon, around 5 p.m. and run until late.

Galleries, studios, stores, restaurants and bars on the street stay open late to welcome thousands of visitors.
