Large amount of drugs stolen from Stoney Creek pharmacy

Hamilton Police say a man robbed a pharmacy of unmixed methadone powder.
It happened Tuesday June 22nd around 7:00 p.m in Stoney Creek.
Police are concerned as improper consumption of these opioid drugs could be fatal. The risk is especially high in the case of children.
If you find lost or discarded medication, police say do not touch it and contact them.
Officers are reminding the public that taking medication that is not prescribed, is harmful.
Police have not disclosed the location of the pharmacy.
