Lanes on Hwy. 403 eastbound at Garden Avenue reopen after morning crash

It was slow-going for drivers in Brantford Wednesday morning after a collision shut down a portion of eastbound Highway 403.

Earlier in the morning a crash involving three vehicles on Highway 403 at Garden Avenue near Brantford led to Ontario Provincial Police closing all eastbound lanes.

Police reported emergency crews were at the scene.

OPP told CHCH News that one person was taken to hospital, but luckily their injuries are non-life threatening.

Officers reopened the highway at around 12:30 p.m.

OPP posted on X at around 11:41 a.m. asking drivers to use caution and to plan alternate routes.
