Lane restrictions planned for Burlington Skyway this weekend

Niagara-bound lanes of the Burlington Skyway will be partially closed between June 13 and 15.

Beginning Saturday at 1 a.m., one of the middle, Niagara-bound lanes will be closed until Monday at 5 a.m.

The closure will also reduce the width of the other lanes and narrow-lane signage will be posted.

The Eastport Drive ramp will be closed on Saturday morning from 1 a.m. through 7 a.m. and again from 8 p.m. on Sunday until 5 a.m. on Monday.

Eastport Drive will remain open all weekend.

The ministry of transportation is advising those travelling to Niagara this weekend to consider taking GO Transit.
