A violent scene at Hamilton’s Hess Village over the weekend. A man believed to be in his twenties appeared to have his face slashed. He was take to Hamilton General Hospital with serious injuries.

Unconfirmed reports suggest the man was injured in a large fight inside one of the bars.

Several police cruisers and the mounted unit were on scene.

The man is expected to be okay.
