Health Canada recalls Advil’s mislabelled Cold and Sinus Day/Night Convenience Packs

Packages of Advil’s Cold and Sinus Day/Night Convenience Pack are being recalled due to a labelling mistake.
The boxes of 18 and 36 caplets were affected as the night-time doses were mislabelled as daytime and vice versa.
Health Canada says there are concerns about consumers mixing up the medications.
The health agency also says taking a night-time caplet could lead to serious health consequences for the elderly, anyone driving or for those who have taken other sedatives or consumed alcohol.
The affected products were distributed in Canada beginning last July.
